Light Inheritors is a Dungeons and Dragons campaign using the recent “D&D Next” playtest rules, and will make a rules shift to the official release of D&D Next when the final rulebooks are published in Summer 2014.
Whether you are new to D&D or a seasoned veteran, understand why you play. For me, this game is a chance to relax with my friends, collaboratively create a fantasy epic with them, and most importantly to have a fun, relaxed time. I get my urge to write out at the gaming table, and it’s a guaranteed weekly place to catch up with some of my best friends. Because of this, my games like to strike a healthy balance between role playing and dragon slaying, and between dark, serious plots and lighthearted enjoyment. The storytelling style of Avatar: the Last Airbender is my chief inspiration, which manages to reconcile a sinister story with lighthearted and sometimes heartwarming scenes, and depraved, crazed villains with determined heroes who have hope and humor, even in the face of overwhelming odds.
No matter what, I always want to facilitate the group having fun. For instance, if your character has a story that needs to be told, send me an email and I will work with you to create a side-adventure to help tell it. If you aren’t having a good time, or something is bothering you, I will do everything I can to fix it.
PS: If you ever want to see an image on the wiki in full resolution, right click and (in Firefox) click “View Image”, or (in Chrome) click “Open Image in a New Tab.” I usually crop these page-heading images from larger pictures, and sometimes the page header will be a link to the uncropped image.
